Summary

Most of our tools work entirely in your browser. When you enter salary figures, loan amounts, or tax deductions, that data stays on your device. Reading articles on our blog does not require you to submit personal information. We built Tax Samjho this way so you can plan your finances and catch up on finance news without handing over sensitive documents.

Information we do not collect from calculators

For tools like the India income tax calculator, CTC salary calculator, EMI calculator, and similar pages, we do not receive or store the numbers you type in. Calculations happen locally using JavaScript in your browser.

Files you create on your device

When you use the PDF editor, invoice generator, or rent receipt generator, your files are processed on your device. Generated PDFs download directly to your computer or phone. We do not keep copies on our servers.

Blog and finance articles

Our blog publishes original finance and tax explainers for Indian readers. When you read an article:

• You do not need an account unless we add optional features that require sign-in.
• We do not ask you to paste salary, PAN, Aadhaar, or bank details to read news content.
• Articles may include images hosted on our site; we do not embed third-party tracking pixels inside article text.
• We do not sell your reading history or article views to advertisers.

If you contact us about a specific article, we only use the information you choose to send (such as your email and message).

Account registration

If you create an account, we store the details needed to sign you in, such as your email address and a hashed password. We do not sell account information to third parties.

Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our hosting may log basic technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us keep the site secure and fix errors.

Analytics cookies

We use optional analytics to understand which tools are used most often. Analytics loads only if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", no analytics scripts run. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Third-party services

We load fonts from Google Fonts and use Tailwind CSS from a CDN to display the site. These providers may receive your IP address when your browser requests their files. Analytics, when enabled, uses Google Analytics and Przio.

Children

Tax Samjho is intended for adults managing personal or business finances. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when we add new tools or change how data is handled. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
