Disclaimer

Important limits on what Tax Samjho calculators, blog articles, and document tools can and cannot do.

General information only

Everything on taxsamjho.com is published for general information and personal planning. Nothing on this site is tax advice, legal advice, investment advice, or accounting advice.

Blog and finance news articles

Articles on our blog are independent explainers written for Indian readers. They summarise public finance, tax, and market developments in plain language.

  • Articles are for information and education only. They are not buy/sell/hold recommendations and not personalised advice for your tax return or portfolio.
  • We write original content for Tax Samjho. We do not republish full text, paywalled stories, or proprietary material from other news websites.
  • We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially connected to any newspaper, wire service, TV channel, or social media account unless we state that clearly in the article.
  • Public facts such as index levels, policy announcements, or company names may appear in multiple outlets; our wording, analysis, and presentation are our own.
  • Markets and tax rules can change quickly. An article may become outdated after publication. Check official sources and professionals before acting.

Stock-related articles may discuss themes, sectors, or market moves in general terms. They are not research reports under SEBI regulations and should not be treated as such.

Estimates, not official figures

Our income tax calculators, salary tools, HRA calculator, EMI calculator, SIP calculator, and FD calculator use standard formulas and published slab rates. Real outcomes depend on your employer structure, bank terms, fund performance, TDS already deducted, surcharges, cess, and exemptions we may not cover in every field.

Tax rules change

Indian income tax law, GST rules, and international tax codes are updated regularly through budgets and notifications. We update our tools when we can, but there may be a gap between a rule change and a site update. Always cross-check with the latest CBDT notifications, GST portal, or your chartered accountant before filing.

Documents you generate

Invoices, rent receipts, and edited PDFs created on Tax Samjho are templates you fill in. You are responsible for accuracy of names, amounts, PAN, GSTIN, and signatures. A generated rent receipt does not by itself prove HRA eligibility; keep supporting records as required by law.

No guarantee of acceptance

We do not guarantee that any calculator result or generated document will be accepted by the Income Tax Department, GST authorities, your employer, bank, or landlord.

Investment risk

SIP, FD, and PPF projections assume steady returns or fixed rates. Actual market returns vary. Past performance shown in examples is not a promise of future results.

Third-party links

We may link to external sites for reference. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We do not control how other publishers write about the same news topics.

Seek professional help

For ITR filing, tax audits, GST registration, loan restructuring, or dispute resolution, consult a chartered accountant, tax lawyer, or SEBI-registered adviser licensed in your jurisdiction.
